Sergiy Maidukov Ukrainian artist. He works with publications, such as The Guardian, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal. The Economist and The Atlantic. Sergiy designed the 5 Euro coin for the Bank of Latvia and designed the 5 Hryvnia coin for Ukraine. Maidukov is inspired by constructivism, modernism, and brutalism in architecture as well as American and European paintings of the 30s-70s. The artist’s art book KYIV is a visual story of Kyiv, consisting of more than fifty 50 color illustrations and black-and-white sketches created by the author from 2018 through 2021. Awarded silver and gold in international illustration competitions.
